While Rumsfeld made an "unscheduled" visit to Afghanistan to help out Hamid Karzai and urge them to fight the Taliban (wait a minute, didn't we already take care of them? I coulda sworn...) 8 bombs went off in Mumbai killing 147 people on trains there (hence securisty supposedly has been increased on the trains here in NYC). Not to mention that yesterday and today were highs for acts of sectarian violence in Iraq...oh and those two American soldiers who were found mutilated? It was revenge for US troops who murdered and raped a 15 year old girl and then killed three members of her family...The longer we leave our troops in this volatile quagmire, the more troops who snap we are gonna have. It has already been reported that the Army, depserate for soldiers to send to the front, have been allowing mentally unstable soldiers to return to fight...cause you know, combat's real healthy for that
The Pentagon was already thinking of a timetable, it's time for the adminstration to do something about it and get our troops home as this can only get worse...and it is doing just that.
