Memorial Day
I was watching 60 Minutes tonight, during which they showed a repeat of a story about soldiers who had been badly wounded in Iraq. It made me angry the first time i saw it and made me even angrier this time around.These soldiers, soldiers of a volunteer rmy, have been used; used by this administration for the most dubious engagement in history since Vietnam (and Vietnam at least had the threat of Communism, there was no threat of terror in Iraq). It is, as I have said many times before, and insult to their bravery and that of all those whose lives were taken before them in other wars.
We are being led by a delusional ignoramus and it is time for him to go.
Go to your local cemetary, parade, or just at least take a moment and think of these soldiers tomorrow. And fight to get them home.
