"what the meaning of is is..."

Apparently, "take him out" does not mean "assassinate" (even after you say something like: "If he thinks we're trying to assassinate him, I think we really ought to go ahead and do it,"), says Pat Robertson today after the deluge of press over his comments about assassinating Venuzeula's leader Hugo Chavez...really it was just a misunderstanding...

And is it really just a misunderstanding with the American people that the latest Gallup poll finds that, despite Bush saying that Cindy Sheehan does not represent the majority view, 57% of Americans-um, a majority-believe that the war in Iraq has made the US more vulnerable to terrorism with only 34% still thinking this a good idea...you might want to check those numbers again George...rather, have your people check those numbers...

And speaking of numbers, Senator John Warner (R) has announced his findings on how Rumsfeld was essentially trying to outsource joba at the Pentagon, manipulating base realignments so that more jobs would be outside the DC area...we hear this the same day that 1500 more troops have just been deployed to Iraq...

And further proof that not everybody is listening to George, 9 northeastern states have come together to reduce emissions from chemical plants. Bush refused to add this proposal to his energy bill, so the states are doin' it for themselves...

Looks like that's what we'll have to do now with this administration, OY!
